Month 1 - Week 1

HOUSEKEEPING

1. Please watch the introductory video. You can't miss it, it's on the home page of the member's area, and it's in big bold letters "Overview and Organization of this program". That will help make sure you have a good foundation for moving forward AND there's a couple of very interesting and important pieces of information there with regard to the future of this program.

2. If you have any issue or trouble...please open a support ticket. You can access the support system from many places on the home page.

3. There are two types of videos available : Streaming, which should work with 95% of all browser installs out there. It uses javascript and flash. And, Download...this is a Windows media file that can be saved by right clicking the link and selecting save as. In addition, the "Download" link will also stream for certain browser/operating system installations.

4. I'm currently in Las Vegas attending Affiliate Summit West, so I may be a little less responsive than usual with emails etc. Please bear with me. I've actually hired some administrative help...but, she won't be up to speed for a week or two.

5. The "slides" links for the content contain PDF files of the powerpoint presentations I use when presenting the material. Sometimes there won't be any (e.g. The tools content this month contains videos of using the tools, no powerpoint)...and when the video is broken up into two (e.g. article marketing 1 and 2), there will typically be only one powerpoint presentation that will be used in both videos.

THIS WEEK's CONTENT

I wanted to accomplish a couple of things this first week:

1. Provide some quick actionable content for the more advanced members of our group. This week contains the "secret" of how I do article marketing and the tools I use to do it. I explain in the material why I started with this topic...but, it WILL have a positive impact on your business RIGHT away.

2. Get all the terms and definitions for our beginning members out of the way. I want our beginners to feel comfortable dipping their toe in the advanced material and the tools etc. I felt that a big overview of Internet marketing and a summary of all the "lingo" would be helpful to build that foundation.

This is not the typical way one might structure any kind of learning program. Usually you start with basics and build out. I am purposely ignoring the "usual" way to do things in the hopes that this delivery will be more useful and actionable for everyone. I struggled with how to organize and present all of this material, and ask that you have patience and allow time for you to really see how it will all come together. The risk in presenting it in this way is that it may seem disjointed. However, I think "getting to the meat" earlier is worth that risk.

This month will bring more advanced topics on PPC, some money makers...and...the beginnings of the "Building the Dream" track where I'll be presenting how I use ALL of these advanced strategies and tools to build a sustainable business with great income.
