I'm so excited about our first private affiliate offer (by the way, I already have the next 2). This was something that I got turned onto by the author of the product. I was going to aggressively go after it myself, but...I decided to hold off and offer it to you guys with a couple of twists. I will not be marketing this at all...instead concentrating on the sales page, billing and distribution of product etc. I'm going to be part publisher, part affiliate manager.
Here are the reasons I'm so excited by this:
1. It's a competitor to the SEO Elite software product...this product has had the market to itself. It's a mature market with lots of keywords for the taking. This product is well poised to be the "alternative, less expensive" option for this kind of software. You can see the current sales page at

Each sale will result in a $57.90 commission (we're going to raise the retail price). The sales page is currently converting at 1%, but we're going to get it to 1.5-2% (that's where the contest comes in). In addition, there will be either a bonus or a one time offer to buyers for a free 30 day membership to this program (we'll test each). If they continue, you will earn $10 per month for each month they're a paying customer!
Here's my math on this...about 1/3 of each customer that gets the free month will continue for at least 4 months...so, even at a 1% conversion...every 100 clicks should result in a $57.90 commission, plus $3.33 per month X 4 months for #13.32...so that's a total of $71.22. And, frankly...I think that's conservative. I believe every 100 clicks will easily get to be worth more than $100. That...is some nice math for the PPC selection formula!!!
3. We're going to offer an actual CD shipped to them with the software and any bonuses. This generally results in much higher conversions and much lower returns! My company will be handling all the creation and distribution of these.
4. Anyone who makes at least one sale will receive a free copy of the product.
So here's the process
1. We're going to have a contest to see who can develop the best sales page for this product...details on the forum under contests
2. That will run for about 2-3 weeks...after which, the sales page will be loaded up
3. Everyone will receive instructions on how to sign up as an affiliate
4. Everyone can build their campaigns and run with it!!
5. KenRock on the forums..as suggested...we're going to have another contest after we go live. Whoever sells the most copies in the first 30 days will win a $500 bonus!
I've had a couple of questions re: why I'm considering this a "private offer"...as this is available through clickbank currently (but not really being pounced on!)
For this first one, perhaps it was a poor choice of words...our second one will not be available anywhere else.
However...the benefit here, is that we're private labeling this. Our highly converting sales page will be unavailable to clickbank affiliates, clickbank affiliates will not have the benefit of their customers receiving an actual CD in the mail with the software and related materials (improves conversions and return %'s), and finally...clickbank affiliates will not have the bonus of the membership program where you guys will be able to make monthly residual income.
